This katana is a tribute to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, one of the most significant shoguns in Japanese history. Hideyoshi started his career as a son of a poor peasant, but rose in power and eventually united Japan. The Hideyoshi Katana is hand forged from high carbon steel and has a full tang design. The habaki is constructed from a single piece of brass, while the handle is wood that is wrapped in simulated ray skin and woven Japanese cotton. The tsuba is constructed from a zinc allow and features a two color design of Toyoyomi Hideyoshi. Comes with a scabbard that is finished with a deep burgundy lacquer and a cotton sword bag. This is an unbelievable sword that is not only beautiful, but fully functional.
